PlanetQuest Missions-in-Need

We have several short- and long-term projects that need your support. None of the missions below will succeed without your involvement. Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions about them; you'll find contact info on each of the Mission pages, or email us at donate@planetquest.org.


Critical: Founders Mission: Help get PlanetQuest off the ground! Become a member of the PlanetQuest Founders Club and help us bring PlanetQuest to the world.
Critical: The Old 'Scopes Mission: Help refurbish and upgrade the Crossley and Twin Astrograph telescopes at Lick Observatory. This will allow us to generate a good baseline dataset for the Northern Hemisphere.
Critical: Beta Development Mission: We are making great progress on the PlanetQuest Collaboratory. Help us create a truly first-class software product that will stand the use of millions of PlanetQuesters.
High Priority: Education Mission: PlanetQuest staff and volunteers are working hard to develop the best possible educational content for K-12 students.
High Priority: Northern Hemisphere Observing Mission: Help us collect star data at Lick Observatory! Your donation will offset observing expenses for CCD rental, and PlanetQuest personnel and interns.
High Priority: Southern Hemisphere Observing Mission: Help us collect star data at Siding Spring Observatory! Your donation will offset observing expenses for PlanetQuest personnel and interns.
